Selomida® Digestion is a homeopathically manufactured drug that is based on the therapy principle of Dr. Schuessler is applied. It contains the Schuessler salts No. 4, 6, 8, 9, 10 and 23 as active ingredients. According to the biochemical therapy principle according to Dr. Schuessler, Selomida® Digestion can be used for digestive problems with symptoms such as heartburn, feeling of fullness, vomiting, flatulence, diarrhea or constipation. The use of these Schuessler salts in the areas of application mentioned is based on a long-standing tradition.
What should be considered?
If your doctor has prescribed other medicines for you, ask your doctor or pharmacist whether Selomida ® digestion may be taken at the same time. No gross deficiency states (e.g. of potassium) can be treated with this medicine. Selomida® Digestion contains 7.5 g lactose per sachet. If your doctor has diagnosed you with an intolerance to sugars, let him or her know before taking this medication. Diabetics: 1 sachet corresponds to 7.5 g of carbohydrates.
When should Selomida digestion not be taken or only with caution?
If you have persistent or recurring digestive problems, it is advisable to consult a doctor and have the causes clarified. Stomach pains that manifest themselves as pain or pressure pain in a specific area or are associated with a general feeling of illness require a doctor's evaluation. Indigestion in children under the age of 12 must be examined by a doctor. Therefore, the preparation should not be used in these cases without a doctor's prescription. Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you -suffering from other diseases, have allergies or -Take other medicines (including those you bought yourself!)!
Can Selomida Digestion be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Based on previous experience, there is no risk for the child if used as directed known. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. How do you use Selomida digestion?
Children from 12 years and adults: For acute symptoms, dissolve the contents of one sachet in a large glass of water or tea up to 3 times a day and drink in small sips. For chronic complaints, dissolve the contents of one sachet in a large glass of water or tea and drink in small sips throughout the day. Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If the desired improvement does not occur during treatment of a child, a doctor should be consulted with him or her. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What side effects can Selomida digestion have?
When taking the drug, people with milk sugar intolerance (lactose intolerance) may experience gastrointestinal problems or a laxative effect. If you notice side effects that are not described here, you should inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What else needs to be considered?
