What is Laitea and when is it used?
Laitea is a herbal medicine and is used for anxiety and restlessness.
What should be considered?
In principle, the duration of the application is not limited. If the symptoms persist after two weeks of use or if they worsen, seek medical help.
When should Laitea not be taken or when should it be taken with caution?
If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to lavender oil or You should not take Laitea if you react to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.Laitea must not be taken if you have liver problems (hepatic insufficiency).Laitea may be used in children and young people under the age of 18 should not be used, as there is insufficient experience in this age group.Anxiety disorders, psychoses or depressions as well as organic diseases with anxiety and restlessness require a medical examination and treatment. These diseases are not suitable for self-treatment with Laitea.
This medicinal product contains 12.07 mg sorbitol per capsule.

Can Laitea be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Clinical data on the use of lavender oil during pregnancy is not available. Laitea should therefore not be used during pregnancy.The safety of use during breastfeeding has not yet been investigated. It is therefore not recommended to use it while breastfeeding.
How do you use Laitea?
Adults over the age of 18 take 1 capsule (equivalent to 80 mg lavender oil per day) unchewed once a day drink plenty of fluids during a meal.
Laitea should not be taken while lying down.
If you forget to take a dose of Laitea, do not take twice as much next time, but continue to take it as directed by your doctor or as described in this patient information sheet.Follow the dosage provided in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What side effects can Laitea have?
Like all medicines, this medicine can have side effects.The list includes all known side effects from treatment with lavender oil, including those at higher doses or long-term therapy.When using Laitea can commonly cause gastrointestinal symptoms (such as belching and nausea), allergic skin reactions with rash and itching, and rarely headaches and very rarely tiredness. Hypersensitivity reactions may occur. The frequency is not known.Intake of preparations with lavender oil may impair the ability to drive and use machines.In the event of an overdose, vomiting should not be induced and should be copious liquid (no milk or alcoholic beverages).If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor, pharmacist or druggist. This also applies in particular to side effects that are not described in this leaflet.
