AMZVWhat is Sidroga purgative tea and when is it used?

Sidroga purgative tea contains the following plant parts in dried form Shape and finely chopped quality: sweet fennel (fruit), senna, star anise (fruit) and liquorice root. The senna fruits contained in Sidroga laxative tea are traditionally attributed to stimulating intestinal activity and laxative properties. Sidroga Laxative Tea is used for occasional constipation (e.g. when changing diet, changing location, being bedridden).

What should be considered?

If you are constipated, you should, if possible, eat enough plant-based food rich in crude fiber and drink plenty of fluids regularly and ensure adequate physical exercise. In the case of persistent or recurring constipation, it is advisable to consult a doctor and have the causes clarified.

Sidroga Laxative Tea must not be used in the case of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract or if there is a known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients (see "What does Sidroga Laxative Tea contain?"). Inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you suffer from other illnesses, have allergies or are taking other medicines (even those you bought yourself!)! Laxatives should only be taken occasionally and for no longer than 1-2 weeks because of possible habituation. Long-term use or too frequent use or a higher dose than recommended can cause diarrhea with water loss and disturbances in the water and mineral balance (potassium loss) and damage to the intestinal mucosa. Long-term treatments belong under medical supervision.

Can Sidroga Laxative Tea be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Then take out the tea bags and squeeze them out lightly over the cup. Only sweeten your tea after removing the tea bags from the cup. You can use both natural and artificial sugar for sweetening. Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
