What are Somnofor Dragées and when are they used?
Somnofor Dragées contain an ethanolic extract from the official valerian root. A calming effect on the nervous system is traditionally attributed to this plant, which contributes to relaxation.Somnofor Dragées are used for nervous-related problems falling asleep and inner restlessness.
What should be considered?
If the symptoms persist for more than two weeks or worsen, a doctor should be consulted.

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients in Somnofor Dragées, you should not take them.There are insufficient studies on the use of this medicine in children and adolescents. Can Somnofor Dragées be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child when used as directed. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
How do you use Somnofor Dragées?
So far Unless otherwise prescribed, adults with sleep disorders caused by nervousness take 1 tablet half an hour to an hour before going to bed. If necessary, 1 additional dragée can be taken in the early evening. In the case of inner restlessness, adults take 1 tablet 1 to 2 times a day during the day. Somnofor Dragées should not be taken by children and adolescents.The dragées are swallowed whole with a little liquid (e.g. a glass of water).Observe the instructions given in the leaflet or dosage prescribed by the doctor.

What side effects can Somnofor Dragées have?
No side effects have been observed for Somnofor Dragées when used as directed.

Keep the medicine out of the reach of children.The medicine should be stored at room temperature (15 °C - 25 °C).The medicine may only be used by the date marked «EXP» on the container.Your doctor, pharmacist or druggist can provide you with further information.
