When is Gemmo Joint Pain used?

According to the therapy principle of Gemmotherapy, Gemmo® Joint Pain can be used in adults to relieve joint pain caused by arthrosis and gout. The use of this medicinal product in the stated area of ??application is based exclusively on the principles of gemmotherapy.

What should be considered?

Before you start taking Gemmo® joint problems, the underlying disease of the symptoms described should be clarified by a doctor. If symptoms persist or if symptoms worsen, seek medical help. If your doctor has prescribed other medicines for you, ask your doctor or pharmacist whether you can take Gemmo® for joint problems at the same time.

When should Gemmo joint complaints not be taken or only with caution?

Gemmo® joint complaints should not be taken if there is a known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients (see «What is in Gemmo ® joint problems?»). The medicine must not be used in children and adolescents. This medicinal product contains 49 mg alcohol (ethanol) per 1 spray of 0.14 ml, equivalent to 350 mg/ml (35% w/v ethanol). The amount in 3 sprays of this medicine is equivalent to less than 4ml beer or 2ml wine. The small amount of alcohol in this medicine has no noticeable effects. Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you ? suffer from other diseases, ? have allergies or ? take other medicines (including those you bought yourself!)!

Can Gemmo joint complaints be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child when used as directed. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice. In the case of pregnant or breastfeeding women, the alcohol content must be taken into account.

How do you use Gemmo for joint problems?

Dosage for adults: Spray 2-3 sprays directly onto the oral mucosa, 2 to 3 times a day. If necessary, spray 3 sprays directly onto the oral mucosa up to 6 times a day. The medicine must not be used in children and adolescents. Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

What side effects can Gemmo joint problems have?

When using Gemmo® joint problems, a slight burning sensation in the mouth and throat may occur due to the alcohol content. If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist. This also applies in particular to side effects that are not listed in this leaflet.

What else needs to be considered?

The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked «EXP» on the container. Storage Instructions Keep at room temperature (15-25°C) and out of the reach of children. Your doctor, pharmacist or druggist can provide you with further information.

What does Gemmo Joint Discomfort contain?

1 ml of liquid contains: Active ingredients Fraxinus excelsior e gemma recenti D1 (Ph.Eur.Hom. 2.1.3) 0.33 ml, Pinus montana e gemma recenti D1 (Ph.Eur.Hom. 2.1.3) 0.33 ml, Vitis vinifera e gemma recenti D1 ( Ph.Eur.Hom. 2.1.3) 0.33 ml.Excipients Ethanol (alcohol), glycerin (E422) and purified water. This medicinal product contains 44% alcohol (ethanol) by volume. 1 ml corresponds to 7 sprays.
