When is Arteria-vita N used?

What should be considered?
People receiving medical treatment should inform their doctor if they are taking Arteria-vita N. If your condition deteriorates, you should consult a doctor! An unbalanced or high-fat diet, smoking, stress and lack of exercise can increase the symptoms and should be avoided.
When should Arteria-vita N not be taken or only with caution?
Arteria-vita N should not be taken if there is a known hypersensitivity to one of the active ingredients or one of the excipients (see «What does Arteria-vita N contain?»). There are no studies available on the use of Arteria-vita N in children and adolescents. Use in children and adolescents is therefore not recommended. Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you

Can Arteria-vita N be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child when used as directed. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.
How do you use Arteria-vita N?
Adults: Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, initially 3× Take 2 capsules daily with enough liquid before or with meals. As soon as there is a clear improvement, the dosage can be reduced to 1-2 capsules a day. People who have difficulty swallowing should mix the contents of the capsule with lukewarm water. If gastrointestinal symptoms occur, the capsules can be taken with meals and plenty of liquid (lukewarm water is best). A dose reduction may be necessary. If you have been prescribed the capsules by your doctor, a dose adjustment should be discussed with him or her. Keep an interval of one and a half to two hours between taking Arteria-vita N and other medicines. Children and adolescents: The use and safety of Arteria-vita N in children and adolescents has not yet been tested and is not intended due to the indication. Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What side effects can Arteria-vita N have?
In very rare cases, gastrointestinal complaints (e.g. diarrhoea, nausea, abdominal pain or belching), skin rashes or itching appear. Palpitations and slight restlessness were occasionally found in persons with the appropriate disposition. If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist. This also applies in particular to side effects that are not listed in this leaflet.

Indikationen/Anwendungsmöglichkeiten
Nach den Therapieprinzipien der Tibetischen Medizin kann Arteria-vita N bei Hitzeüberschuss im Gefässsystem (erhöhtes Tripa-Prinzip) angewendet werden, der mit Durchblutungsstörungen einhergeht mit Symptomen wie Kribbeln, Ameisenlaufen, Schwere- und Spannungsgefühl in den Beinen und Armen, Einschlafen von Händen und Füssen und Wadenkrämpfen.
Dosierung/Anwendung
Erwachsene
Als Initialdosis werden 3x2 Kapseln täglich mit genügend Flüssigkeit vor oder zu den Mahlzeiten empfohlen. Sobald eine deutliche Besserung eingetreten ist, kann die Dosierung bis auf 1–2 Kapseln täglich reduziert werden. Personen mit Schluckbeschwerden schlämmen den Kapselinhalt in lauwarmem Wasser auf. Wenn Beschwerden im Magen-Darm-Bereich auftreten, können die Kapseln zu den Mahlzeiten mit viel Flüssigkeit (am besten mit lauwarmem Wasser) eingenommen werden.
Zwischen der Einnahme von Arteria-vita N und weiteren Arzneimitteln soll ein Abstand von eineinhalb bis zwei Stunden eingehalten werden.
Kinder und Jugendliche
Die Anwendung und Sicherheit von Arteria-vita N bei Kindern und Jugendlichen ist bisher nicht geprüft worden und aufgrund der Indikation nicht vorgesehen.
Kontraindikationen
Überempfindlichkeit gegenüber einem der Wirkstoffe oder einem der Hilfsstoffe gemäss Zusammensetzung.
Warnhinweise und Vorsichtsmassnahmen
Die Anwendung und Sicherheit von Arteria-vita N bei Kindern und Jugendlichen ist bisher nicht geprüft worden und aufgrund der Indikation nicht vorgesehen.
Interaktionen
Bisher sind keine Interaktionen mit anderen Arzneimitteln bekannt geworden.
Schwangerschaft/Stillzeit
Schwangerschaft, Stillzeit
Es gibt keine hinreichenden Daten zur Anwendung bei Schwangeren.
Es liegen keine hinreichenden tierexperimentellen Studien zur Auswirkung auf Schwangerschaft, Embryonalentwicklung, Entwicklung des Fötus und/oder die postnatale Entwicklung vor. Das potenzielle Risiko für den Menschen ist nicht bekannt.
Bei der Anwendung in der Schwangerschaft ist Vorsicht geboten.
Wirkung auf die Fahrtüchtigkeit und auf das Bedienen von Maschinen
Es wurden keine entsprechenden Studien durchgeführt.
Unerwünschte Wirkungen
Gastrointestinale Störungen (wie z.B. Diarrhoe, Übelkeit, Bauchschmerzen oder Aufstossen): sehr selten.
Nervöse Störungen mit Herzklopfen und leichter Unruhe bei entsprechend veranlagten Personen: sehr selten.
Hautausschläge oder Juckreiz: sehr selten.
Die Meldung des Verdachts auf Nebenwirkungen nach der Zulassung ist von grosser Wichtigkeit. Sie ermöglicht eine kontinuierliche Überwachung des Nutzen-Risiko-Verhältnisses des Arzneimittels.
