Indikation
Kurzzeitbehandlung von schweren Infektionen durch gramnegative Erreger.Dosierung
I.v. Inf., verdünnt in kompatibler Inf. Lös. «FI», über 30?60 Min. (Kleinkinder: über 1?2 h), oder i.m.Erw., Kinder >2 Wo.: 15 mg/kg tgl. in 1?3 Dosen, max. 15?20 mg/kg tgl. bzw. 1,5 g tgl., Therapiedauer: 7?10 Tage, total applizierte Dosis während der Therapie: max. 15 g.
initial 10 mg/kg, dann 7,5 mg/kg alle 12 h.
Frühgeborene: 7,5 mg/kg alle 12 h.
Kontraindikation
Schwangerschaft «FI», Stillzeit.
