When is Nux vomica-Homaccord used?

This medicinal product contains 138 mg ethanol (alcohol) in 10 drops (28% w/v) . The amount in 10 drops of this medicine is equivalent to less than 4ml of beer or 2ml of wine. The small amount of alcohol in this medicine has no noticeable effects. If you have a known hypersensitivity to one or more of the ingredients, this medicine should not be taken. Indigestion problems in children under the age of 12 must be clarified by a doctor. Therefore, the drug should not be used in children under the age of 12 without medical advice. How do you use Nux vomica-Homaccord?

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age, 10 drops 3 times a day. For acute symptoms, take 10 drops every 15 minutes up to 12 times a day, then continue with the standard dosage. Not for children under the age of 12 without medical advice. Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

What side effects can Nux vomica-Homaccord have?

Transient skin reactions (e.g. skin rash, itching) have been reported in individual cases. If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist. This also applies in particular to side effects that are not listed in this leaflet. When taking homeopathic medicines, the symptoms can temporarily worsen (initial aggravation). If the deterioration persists, discontinue Nux vomica-Homaccord and tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
