What is Laxiplant soft and when is it used?

Laxiplant soft influences the intestinal activity as follows: seed shells of psyllium swell with water until they are 40 years old -fold in volume, causing the colon to fill and stretch. Plant slime also forms a natural lubricant.

What should be considered?

If you suffer from constipation, you should

  • food rich in fiber (vegetables, fruit, wholemeal bread) andtake plenty of fluids regularly andmake sure you are physically active (sport)!

When should Laxiplant soft not be taken or should it only be taken with caution?

Laxiplant soft should not be used if there is an imminent or complete obstruction of the bowel or if there is a problem with the esophagus. Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you

Laxiplant soft can be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

How do you use Laxiplant soft?

Adults and young people from the age of 12 stir 1-2 teaspoons (1 teaspoon = 5 g) of Laxiplant soft in 1-2 times a day fill a large glass (at least 2 dl) with water (non-carbonated), fruit juice, yoghurt or milk. Children from 6 to 12 years: the dose corresponds to ¼ to ½ teaspoon 1-2 times a day. Drink immediately. It is important to drink another glass of liquid after taking it. Please note: Laxiplant soft stirred into the glass becomes viscous to solid if it is left to stand for a long time and is therefore unusable. Stick to the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

What side effects can Laxiplant soft have?

Rarely allergic symptoms (facial swelling, sneezing, shortness of breath). The preparation should therefore be carried out in such a way that contact with the skin or inhalation is avoided. If you notice side effects that are not described here, you should inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

What else should be considered?

Keep out of the reach of children. Store in the original packaging in a dry place. The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked ?EXP? on the container. Your doctor, pharmacist or druggist can provide you with further information.

What does Laxiplant soft contain?

5 g of granules contain 3 g of psyllium husks. This preparation contains additional excipients as well as 1.5 g of sugar (sucrose), the sweeteners cyclamate and saccharin and aromatics.
