What is Vitamin B1 Streuli, tablets and when is it used?

Vitamin B1 is indispensable for the breakdown of carbohydrates, such as sugar and starch.

A vitamin B1 deficiency therefore leads to disorders in the utilization of carbohydrates and to nerve and muscle diseases.

Vitamin B1 Streuli is used to treat vitamin B1 deficiency as a result of a vitamin B1 absorption disorder, beriberi (avitaminosis), a certain brain stem disease and vitamin B1-dependent myocardial disease.
