What is Hübner Silicea Balsam and when is it used?
Hübner Silicea Balsam is a gel for Ingestion and contains silicic acid in a very finely divided form. Hübner Silicea Balsam is used for flatulence, a feeling of fullness, nausea and diarrhea.
What should be considered?
If you have a persistent upset stomach, you should consult your doctor as to whether he or she thinks additional therapy is indicated.
When should Hübner Silicea Balsam not be taken?
To date, there are no known restrictions on use.
When is caution required when taking Hübner Silicea Balsam?
If used as intended, no special precautions need to be taken. But it should not be taken long-term if the cause of the symptoms is still unknown. If the symptoms persist without interruption and there is no improvement after two weeks, a doctor should be consulted. Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you
- suffer from other diseases,have allergies ortake other medicines (including those you bought yourself) or use them externally!
When taking medicines prescribed by a doctor, possible interactions should be considered. Hübner Silicea Balsam should be taken 1 - 2 hours apart from other medicines.
Can Hübner Silicea Balsam be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child if used as directed. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.
How do you use Hübner Silicea Balm?
Adults: Unless otherwise prescribed, take 1 portion stick of 15 ml 3 times a day or give 15 ml 3 times a day Hübner Silicea Balsam in the dosing aid and take the silica gel with 1/4 glass of lukewarm water or tea. Knead the portion stick before use or shake the bottle before use. The use and safety of Hübner Silicea Balsam in children and adolescents has not yet been tested. Stick to the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What side effects can Hübner Silicea Balsam have?
Up to now, no side effects have been observed for Hübner Silicea Balsam when used as intended. If you nevertheless observe side effects, inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What else needs to be considered?
The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked «EXP» on the container.
Use by after opening
After opening the bottle, please store in the refrigerator at 2 - 8 °C and use up within 4 weeks.
Storage instructions
Do not store above 25 °C. Do not freeze. Keep out of the reach of children.

In pharmacies and drugstores, without a doctor's prescription. Packs of 200ml and 500ml bottles and packs of 225ml (15 x 15ml) and 450ml (30 x 15ml) portion sticks are available. Not all pack sizes may be marketed.
