What is Dormeasan and when is it used?
Dormeasan is a fresh plant preparation made from valerian and hops for the treatment of problems falling asleep and staying asleep with calming, relaxing and balancing properties, also for nervous restlessness and irritability.
What should that be be observed?
If the symptoms persist for more than a month, medical help should be sought.
When should Dormeasan not be taken or should only be taken with caution? h2>
To date, no application restrictions are known. When used as intended, no special precautionary measures are necessary. Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you suffer from other illnesses, have allergies or are taking other medicines (even those you bought yourself).
May Dormeasan taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child when used as directed. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.
How do you use Dormeasan?
Adults: 25 drops, children from 6 years 10 drops before bedtime in a quarter glass of water sweetened with honey; To calm down during the day, take 10-20 drops 1-2 times a day, children over 6 years of age take 10 drops. Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
Side effects Do you have Dormeasan?
No side effects have been observed for Dormeasan when used as directed. If you nevertheless observe side effects, inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What else should be observed?
Dormeasan contains a production-related alcohol content of 62% by volume. Drinking strong coffee or black tea should be avoided in the late afternoon and evening so as not to impair the calming effect of Dormeasan. Dormeasan should be stored at room temperature (15-25°C) and out of the reach of children. Dormeasan may only be used up to the date marked «EXP» on the container. Fresh plant tinctures can occasionally experience a night cloudiness, but this does not affect the effect. Unused or expired packs should be returned to your pharmacist for disposal. Your doctor, pharmacist or druggist can provide you with further information.
What does Dormeasan contain?
1 ml contains Dormeasan : 460 mg tincture from fresh hop cones, drug-extractant ratio 1:12, extractant ethanol 65% (v/v); 460 mg tincture of fresh valerian root*, drug-extractant ratio 1:10, extractant ethanol 58% (v/v). *from controlled organic cultivation Dormeasan contains 62% alcohol by volume. 1 ml = 35 drops
