What is A.Vogel Relaxation Drop and when is it used?

A.Vogel Relaxation Drop is a herbal medicinal product and contains a tincture of fresh passion flower herb (Passiflora incarnata L., herba). The tincture is used for general nervousness, nervous restlessness and difficulty falling asleep as well as during the menopause.

What should be considered?

If the symptoms persist for more than a month, medical help should be sought.

When should A.Vogel Relaxation Drops not be taken or only with caution?

This medicinal product contains up to 480 mg alcohol (ethanol) per dose of 30 drops, equivalent to 544 mg/mL (68% v/v). The amount in 30 drops of this medicine is equivalent to less than 12ml of beer or 5ml of wine. The small amount of alcohol in this medicine has no noticeable effects. The medicine is not suitable for children under 3 years of age. Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you ?suffer from other diseases, ? Have allergies or ? Take other medicines (including those you bought yourself!).

Can A.Vogel Relaxation Drops be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child when used as intended. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.

How do you use A.Vogel Relaxation Drops?

Adults and young people from the age of 12 take 10 drops 3 times a day 1?2 hour before meals in a little water. Take 25-30 drops in some water before going to sleep. Children from 3 years take 6 drops 3 times a day 1?2 hour before meals in a little water. Take 10 drops in some water before going to sleep. The drug is not suitable for children under the age of 3 years, as its use in this patient group has not been systematically reviewed. Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

What side effects can A.Vogel Relaxation Drops have?

No side effects have been observed for A.Vogel Relaxation Drops when used as intended. If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist. This also applies in particular to side effects that are not listed in this leaflet.

What else needs to be considered?

The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked «EXP» on the container. Storage Instructions Keep at room temperature (15-25°C) and out of the reach of children. Further Notes Fresh plant tinctures can occasionally experience a night cloudiness, but this does not affect the effect. Unused or expired packs should be returned to your pharmacist for disposal.
