When is choleodorone used?
According to anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature, choleodorone can be used in diseases and congestion in the liver-gallbladder area, inflammatory diseases of the bile ducts and the gallbladder as well as in the case of fat intolerance. Choleodoron is a combination of two medicinal plants that have a special effect on bile formation and bile excretion. The Javanese turmeric (Curcuma xanthorrhiza), a medicinal and spice plant that comes from the tropics, can primarily promote the flow of bile and generally have a stimulating effect on the juice secretion of the digestive tract. The local celandine (chelidonium) can normalize bile formation and also has an antispasmodic effect. Choleodorone thus particularly supports the normal function of the bile during digestion.
What do you need to know about this?
If your doctor has prescribed other medicines for you, ask your doctor or pharmacist whether choleodorone can be taken at the same time.
When should choleodorone not be taken or should it only be taken with caution?
Patients with severe liver disease and past liver inflammation should only take choleodorone after consulting their doctor. If other medications, especially hormone preparations, are taken at the same time, the liver values ??must be checked regularly by a doctor. Choleodorone should not be taken continuously for more than 4 weeks. If taken for a long time, the liver values ??must be checked. Do not use in children under 6 years of age. Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you
- suffer from other diseases,
- have allergies or
- take other medicines (including those you bought yourself!).
Can choleodorone be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child when used as directed. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking Choleodorone during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.
How do you use Choleodorone?
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, take Choleodorone as follows: Adults: 15-20 drops 3 times a day in a little water after meals. Children from 6 years: 5-8 drops in a little water 3 times a day after meals. Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If the desired improvement does not occur during treatment of a child, a doctor should be consulted with him or her. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What side effects can choleodorone have?
No side effects have been observed for choleodorone when used as directed. If you do notice any side effects, tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What else needs to be considered?
If the symptoms worsen or if there is no improvement, discontinue choleodorone and inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist or druggist. Beware of stains on clothes. Due to the flavonoids contained in both medicinal plants, yellow discoloration of dentures can occur. Therefore, rinse the oral cavity after taking choleodorone. Keep the medicine out of the reach of children. Store at room temperature (15-25°C) and away from moisture. The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked «EXP» on the container. Your doctor, pharmacist or druggist can provide you with further information.
