What is Menomed and when is it used?
The fresh plant preparation Menomed is made from fresh sage leaves. It is traditionally used for excessive sweating and a feeling of warmth during menopause.
What should be considered?
If the symptoms worsen, discuss this with your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
When should Menomed not be taken or should only be taken with caution?
Menomed should not be used if there is a known hypersensitivity one of the ingredients. Caution should be exercised in persons suffering from epilepsy. People who regularly take antiepileptic drugs should consult their doctor before taking Menomed. Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you suffer from other illnesses, have allergies or are taking other medicines (including those you bought yourself).

How do you use Menomed?
Adults: take 1 tablet once a day with some liquid.
Observe the instructions in the Dosage indicated in the leaflet or prescribed by the doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What side effects can Menomed have?
The following side effects have been described for Menomed: diarrhea and abdominal pain. Epileptic convulsions can occur in the event of an overdose. If you notice any side effects that are not described here, you should inform your doctor or pharmacist.
What else needs to be considered?
Keep Menomed out of the reach of children and at room temperature (15 - 25° C). The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked ?EXP? on the container. Unused or expired packs should be returned to your pharmacist for disposal. Your doctor, pharmacist or druggist can provide you with further information.
What does Menomed contain?
1 Menomed tablet contains: Spissum extract from: 3400 mg tincture of fresh sage leaves (drug-extractant ratio 1:17, extractant ethanol 68% v/v). This preparation also contains auxiliary substances.
