What is Dormiplant and when is it used?
Dormiplant is a herbal medicine based on the well-known and proven medicinal plants valerian and lemon balm. The mutually complementary combination of the two plants has a calming and sleep-inducing effect. Dormiplant is used to calm restlessness, nervousness and problems falling asleep.
What should be considered?
If the symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks or if they worsen, seek medical help.
When should Dormiplant not be taken or should only be taken with caution?
Dormiplant should not be used if you are hypersensitive to an ingredient (see «What does Dormiplant contain?» ). Do not use on children under 6 years of age.Dormiplant may impair responsiveness, the ability to drive and the ability to use tools or machines. Therefore, no vehicles should be driven or tools or machines used for up to 2 hours after taking Dormiplant.Inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist or your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you
- suffer from other diseaseshave allergies oruse other medicines (including those you bought yourself!)!
The simultaneous use of synthetic sedatives requires a Medical diagnosis and monitoring.
Can Dormiplant be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child when used as directed. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.
How do you use Dormiplant?To calm you down:
Adults 1-2 tablets 2 times a day, children from 6 years of age 1 tablet 2 times a day.
Adults take 2-3 tablets, children over 6 years 1 tablet, about 1 hour before going to bed.Take the tablets whole with some liquid.The medicine should not be used in children under the age of 6.Observe the dosage given in the package leaflet or prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What side effects can Dormiplant have?
No side effects have been observed for Dormiplant when used as directed. If you nevertheless observe side effects, inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What else should be observed?
The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked "EXP" on the container. Keep out of reach of CHILDREN. Do not store above 30 °C.Your doctor, pharmacist or druggist can provide you with further information.
What does Dormiplant contain?
1 film-coated tablet contains: ethanolic dry extracts of valerian 160 mg (3-6:1) and lemon balm 80 mg (4-6 :1). This preparation contains the dye indigotine (E 132), sodium saccharin, vanillin and other additives.
