Importal has no effect on blood sugar in diabetics and does not promote caries. Importal is recommended for the treatment of occasional constipation (e.g. when changing diet, changing location or bed rest) and for regulating stool if there is a tendency to constipation.

The doctor can also prescribe Importal for certain liver diseases.
