When is Selomida skin used?

Selomida® skin is a homeopathically manufactured drug that is based on the therapy principle of Dr. Schuessler is applied. It contains the Schuessler salts no. 1, 4, 6, 8, 11 and 21 as active ingredients.According to the biochemical therapy principle according to Dr. Schuessler, Selomida® Skin can be used to support wound healing and the treatment of skin problems that manifest themselves through symptoms such as skin rash, itching, dandruff, scabs or weeping secretions.

The use of these Schuessler salts in the areas of application mentioned is based on a long-standing tradition.

What should be considered?

If your doctor has prescribed other medication, ask Ask your doctor or pharmacist whether Selomida® skin can be taken at the same time.

This medicine cannot be used to treat gross deficiencies (e.g. of zinc, potassium).

Selomida® skin contains 7.5 g of lactose per sachet. If your doctor has diagnosed you with sugar intolerance, inform him or her before you take this medicine.

Diabetics: 1 sachet corresponds to 7.5 g of carbohydrates.

When should Selomida skin not be taken or should only be taken with caution?

Large, heavily soiled and deep wounds as well as bite and puncture wounds require medical treatment (danger of tetanus). If the extent of a wound remains the same for some time or if the wound does not heal within 7 days, a doctor's visit is also necessary. The same applies if the edges of the wound are very red, the wound suddenly swells, is very painful or the injury is accompanied by fever (danger of blood poisoning).

In the case of extensive skin changes, infections and suspected systemic diseases, a doctor should be consulted.

Do not use in children under the age of 2 years.

Inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist, if you-suffer from other diseases,have allergies or-take other medicines (including those you bought yourself!)!

Can Selomida Skin be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child if used as intended. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.

How do you use Selomida skin?

Children from 2 years and adults:

For acute symptoms up to 3 times a day, dissolve the content of a bag in a large glass of water or tea and drink in small swallowing.

In chronic symptoms, dissolve the content of a bag in a large glass or tea every day and drink in small swallows over the day. Or dosage prescribed by the doctor. If the desired improvement does not occur when a child is treated, he or she should see a doctor.If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

What side effects can Selomida skin have?

People with milk sugar intolerance (lactose intolerance) may experience gastrointestinal problems or a laxative effect when taking the drug.

What else needs to be considered?

The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked ??EXP?? on the container.

Keep the medicinal product out of the reach of children and at room temperature (15?25 °C).
