The controlled administration of nicotine with Nicorette Spray reduces these withdrawal symptoms and makes it easier for smokers to give up cigarette nicotine. Treatment longer than 3 months is not recommended.
If you have acquired new habits (substitute actions for smoking) over time, experience has shown that you may find it easier to gradually increase the amount of nicotine from the Nicorette Spray Reduce and later do without it altogether. Health damage caused by the tar and carbon monoxide content in tobacco smoke is avoided.
