What is Lyman 40'000 Mono Spray and when is it used?

When must Lyman 40'000 Mono Spray not be used?

Lyman 40'000 Mono Spray must not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or one of the excipients. Lyman 40,000 Mono Spray should not be used if there is an increased tendency to bleed and if there is known heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT, heparin-induced lack of blood platelets).

When should you be careful when using Lyman 40'000 Mono Spray?

Avoid contact with the eyes. Use only on intact skin, not on mucous membranes and not on open wounds. In the case of vein diseases that can be traced back to the presence of a blood clot (a so-called thrombosis), massage must not be carried out. If the symptoms persist or worsen, a doctor should be consulted. Due to the heparin contained in Lyman 40'000 Mono Spray, an interaction with medicines that inhibit blood clotting (these include medicines for blood thinning as well as many painkillers and rheumatism medicines) cannot be completely ruled out. However, a resulting increased risk of bleeding is unlikely, since heparin hardly gets into the bloodstream when Lyman 40'000 Mono Spray is used correctly. How do you use Lyman 40'000 Mono Spray?

Adults: Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, several times a day, the number of sprays required varies depending on the area (usually 5-7 sprays) onto the intact skin area to be treated. Lyman 40'000 Mono Spray is sprayed on so that a complete film of liquid covers the area to be treated. The spray bottle can also be used with the spray head down (e.g. to spray the lower legs). The duration of use is not limited, but if the symptoms persist or worsen, the doctor should be consulted. Children and adolescents: The use and safety of Lyman 40'000 Mono Spray in children and adolescents has not yet been tested. What side effects can Lyman 40'000 Mono Spray have?

Rare (affects 1 to 10 users in 10'000): In hypersensitive people Patients may develop an allergy. In such cases, treatment should be discontinued.
