Aesculaforce forte veins is a medicine with a dry extract of fresh horse chestnut seeds. Each film-coated tablet contains 50 mg of aescin, which improves the elasticity of the vein walls and thus promotes blood circulation and prevents leakage of fluid from the veins into the tissue. Aesculaforce forte veins is therefore indicated for complaints related to varicose veins such as swollen legs (stasis oedema), pain and a feeling of heaviness in the legs and calf cramps.

What is Aesculaforce forte Venen and when is it used?
Aesculaforce forte Venen is a medicinal product containing a dry extract of fresh horse chestnut seeds. Each film-coated tablet contains 50 mg of aescin, which improves the elasticity of the vein walls and thus promotes blood circulation and prevents leakage of fluid from the veins into the tissue. Aesculaforce forte veins is therefore indicated for complaints related to varicose veins such as swollen legs (stasis oedema), pain and a feeling of heaviness in the legs and calf cramps.
What should be considered?
In addition to drug therapy, you should ensure sufficient exercise and avoid standing for long periods. Whenever possible, the legs should be elevated and tied if necessary.
When should Aesculaforce forte not be used or only with caution?
Aesculaforce forte veins should not be used if there is a known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients (see composition). The use of Aesculaforce forte veins is not recommended for children and adolescents under the age of 18 as there is insufficient experience with this group of patients. Can Aesculaforce forte veins be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child if used as directed. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.
How do you use Aesculaforce forte veins?
Adults take 2 film-coated tablets daily (morning and evening 1 film-coated tablet) during meals. Swallow the film-coated tablet whole with some water or another non-alcoholic drink. Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist. The use of Aesculaforce forte veins is not recommended for children and adolescents under the age of 18 as there is insufficient experience with this group of patients.
What side effects can Aesculaforce forte veins have?
The following side effects can occur when taking Aesculaforce forte veins: In rare cases, sensitive people may experience slight stomach problems. These disorders can be largely avoided by taking the film-coated tablets with the main meals. If you notice side effects, contact your doctor, pharmacist or druggist. This also applies in particular to side effects that are not listed in this leaflet.

The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked «EXP» on the container. You should return unused or expired packs to your pharmacist for disposal.
