What is TussEx and when is it used?

According to the homeopathic drug picture, TussEx can be used for acute inflammation of the respiratory tract (e.g. bronchitis), irritable and spasmodic cough with a dry, barking, tormenting cough, scratchy or tickling throat and viscous mucus that is difficult to cough up.

What should be considered?

If your doctor has prescribed other medicines for you, ask your doctor or pharmacist whether TussEx can be taken at the same time.

When should TussEx not be used or should only be used with caution?

TussEx should not be used if there is a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.Inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist rogistin if you-suffer from other illnesses-have allergies-take other medicines (including those you bought yourself!).

Can TussEx be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child when used as intended. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking TussEx during pregnancy and breastfeeding because of the alcohol it contains, or ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

How do you use TussEx?

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, adults and adolescents can take 10 drops several times a day in acute cases. Less common with improvement. Children can take 5 drops diluted in water 3 times a day. If the desired improvement does not occur during the treatment of a small child/child, a doctor should be consulted with him or her. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

What side effects can TussEx have?

The following side effects can occur when taking TussEx: Hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients can cause allergic reactions (reddening of the skin). In this case, the treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.

If you notice any side effects that are not described here, you should inform your doctor or pharmacist.

If you take homeopathic medicines, the symptoms may temporarily worsen (initial aggravation). If the deterioration persists, discontinue TussEx and inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

What else needs to be considered?

The medicine may only be used up to the date marked «EXP» on the container.Keep the medicine out of the reach of children. Store at room temperature (15-25 °C).

This medicinal product contains 55% alcohol by volume.

What does TussEx contain?

50 ml of solution contain Drosera D4, Hepar sulfuris D6, Bryonia D3, Eucalyptus D3, Echina Cea purpurea D4, Ipecacuanha D4, each in equal parts, alcohol content 55% by volume: 26 drops correspond to the amount of 1 ml.
