When is SIMILASAN Calendula used?

What should be considered?

?  Large, heavily soiled and deep wounds, as well as bite and puncture wounds require medical treatment (danger of tetanus). If the extent of a wound remains unchanged for some time, or if the wound does not heal within 7 days, a doctor's visit is also necessary. The same applies if the edges of the wound are very red, the wound suddenly swells, is very painful or the injury is accompanied by fever (danger of blood poisoning). ?  If your doctor has prescribed other medicines for you, ask your doctor or pharmacist whether SIMILASAN Calendula may be used at the same time.

When should SIMILASAN Calendula not be used or only with caution?

? Large burns must be treated immediately by a doctor. ? Must not be used if you are known to be sensitive to asteraceae (arnica, calendula, etc.). ?  Inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you ? suffer from other diseases, ?  have allergies or ? Take other medicines (including those you bought yourself) or use them externally!

How do you use SIMILASAN Calendula?

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor: ? Thoroughly clean the wound before applying the ointment. ? Coat the compress (use sterile wound compresses) with ointment and apply or spread a thin layer on the affected skin areas. ?  Acute symptoms: Apply several times a day as needed. Renew the compress at least twice a day. ?  For healing: Apply 2 - 3 times a day. Renew compress at least once a day. Use until symptom free. The duration of the effect can vary from person to person. In principle, the application of the preparation is repeated when the effect wears off or when the symptoms return. Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or prescribed by your doctor. If the desired improvement does not occur during the treatment of a small child/child, a doctor should be consulted with them. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

What side effects can SIMILASAN Calendula have?

Rarely, hypersensitivity reactions (allergies) to asteraceae can occur. If you notice side effects that are not described here, you should inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist. When using homeopathic medicines, the symptoms can temporarily worsen (initial aggravation). Measures when symptoms initially worsen:
