Description - Gincosan caps 100 pcs
What is Gincosan and when is it used?
Gincosan contains two extracts: Ginkgo extract GK501® from the leaves of the ginkgo tree (Ginkgo biloba L.) and ginseng extract G115® from ginseng roots (Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer). The ginkgo extract GK501® promotes blood circulation in the brain, especially in the small and smallest blood vessels. As a result, the cells are better supplied with oxygen. The ginseng extract G115® increases cell activity and improves oxygen utilization. It is suitable for increasing mental and physical performance when you are tired and weak.
Gincosan is used when mental and/or physical performance is declining with symptoms such as tiring quickly, forgetfulness, lack of concentration, poor memory and perception and dizziness ( in arteriosclerosis symptoms).
What should be considered?
Before treatment with Gincosan is started, it should be clarified whether the symptoms of the disease are not based on an underlying disease that is specifically to be treated. p>Frequently occurring dizziness always requires clarification by the doctor. If the symptoms do not subside within a reasonable time, you should ask your doctor for advice.Unbalanced diet, excessive fat consumption and smoking can increase the side effects of arteriosclerosis and should be avoided or limited. The capsules are also suitable for diabetics, as they contain neither dextrose (glucose) nor table sugar (sucrose).Ginseng can possibly lower the blood sugar level.
When should Gincosan not be used or only with be used with caution?
Gincosan must not be used if there is a known hypersensitivity to ginkgo and/or ginsengpreparations or other components of the drug (see composition). The use and safety of Gincosan in children and adolescents under the age of 18 has not yet been tested. Patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance should not take Gincosan. Individual cases of bleeding have been reported, especially with long-term use (whose causal connection with the intake of ginkgo preparations has not yet been clearly established). If ginseng is taken at the same time as drugs that inhibit blood clotting (so-called oral anticoagulants, e.g. phenprocoumon, acenocoumarol, warfarin), their effect can be weakened.
Since the effect of gincosan on blood clotting is unclear, Caution is advised for patients with bleeding disorders or in combination with medication that increases the risk of bleeding.
The doctor must be asked or informed about the intake in these cases and before surgical interventions. In diabetics, Gincosan can increase the effect of blood sugar-lowering medicines.Inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you
- suffer from other diseases, have allergies ortake other medicines (including those you bought yourself!) or use them externally (external products)! li>
Can Gincosan be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
