What should be considered?

If your doctor has prescribed other medicines for you, ask your doctor or pharmacist or ask your doctor or pharmacist whether Lactovis®, ointment can be used at the same time.

When should Lactovis, ointment not be used or only with caution?

Lactovis®, ointment should not be used if there is a known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you- suffer from other diseases- have allergies or- take other medicines (including those you bought yourself) or use them externally.

Can Lactovis, ointment be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child if used as directed. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

How do you use Lactovis, ointment?

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, apply 1-3 times a day thinly to the affected areas of skin or thickly to the bandage. Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

What side effects can Lactovis, ointment have?

The following side effects can occur when using Lactovis®, ointment: In rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions to one of the ingredients are possible. In these cases, use should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. If you notice side effects that are not described here, you should inform your doctor or pharmacist. When using homeopathic medicines, the symptoms can temporarily worsen (initial aggravation). If the deterioration persists, discontinue use of Lactovis® ointment and inform your doctor or pharmacist.

The medicine may only be used up to the date marked ?Use by? on the container. Store drug out of reach of children. Store at room temperature (15-25°C). Your doctor or pharmacist can provide you with further information.

What does Lactovis, ointment contain?

1 g of ointment contains:

100 mg Acidum L(+)-lacticum D1 dil (HAB, 5a).

The preparation contains additional auxiliary substances: wool wax alcohols, cetostearyl alcohol, white vaseline, medium-chain triglyceride eride, glycerol monostearate 40-55, propylene glycol, magnesium sulfate, water.
