What is Antidry Calm Lotion and when is it used?

Antidry Calm Lotion contains the active ingredients almond oil, lactic acid and Polidocanol 600, which improve and normalize the skin condition in dry, itchy skin diseases. The combination of the active ingredients of almond oil and lactic acid, which is an important component of the skin's natural moisturizing factor (NMF), supplies the skin with missing fat and moisture. The polidocanol it contains has a slightly anesthetic effect and thus relieves itching. The protective acid mantle of the skin is stabilized by the physiological pH value of Antidry calm Lotion so that the skin's own natural protective function is restored.The two lotions Antidry calm sensitive and Antidry calm only differ in that Antidry calm sensitive is fragrance-free.Antidry calm lotion is used

  • for the care of sensitive or slightly inflamed skin and for skin dryness;for the supporting therapy of various dry or ju contagious skin diseases, such as chronic eczema (neurodermatitis) and dehydration eczema;for alternating external treatment with highly effective medicines as prescribed by a doctor;for skin care after bathing or showering; after intensive contact with cleaning agents and solvents; in extreme climatic conditions (cold, dry, windy, sun).

When should Antidry calm Lotion not be used?

If hypersensitivity to one of the components contained in the preparation is known.In the case of acute erythroderma (= inflammatory reddening or scaling of the skin all over the body) and in the case of acutely inflammatory, weeping and infected skin processes.

When is the Use of Antidry calm lotion with caution?

Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

If used as directed, no other special precautions need to be taken.

Can Antidry Calm Lotion be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child if used as intended. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.

How do you use Antidry calm Lotion?

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, Antidry calm Lotion is applied several times a day and gently massaged in as needed. The duration of the application depends on the clinical picture and is usually 3 weeks. In the case of persistently dry and itchy skin, the preparation can be used over a longer period of time as directed by a doctor.

Antidry calm lotion can be used for self-medication in children from the age of 2 for up to three weeks. Long-term treatment in children between the ages of two and 12 should only be done after consulting a doctor.

It is not recommended for children under the age of 2.

Stick to the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor.

What side effects can Antidry calm Lotion have?

Rarely local hypersensitivity reactions.
