What is Vitango and when is it used?

Vitango® is a herbal remedy and contains a dry extract of Rhodiola rosea root and rhizomes. Vitango® is a traditional herbal medicine used to relieve physical and mental symptoms of stress and overwork, such as tiredness, exhaustion, irritability and tension. The use of this herbal medicinal product in the areas of application mentioned is based exclusively on a long-standing tradition.

What should be considered?

If the symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks, medical help should be sought.

When should Vitango not be taken or should only be taken with caution?

If you are known to be hypersensitive to Rhodiola rosea root and rootstock extract or any of the other ingredients of the medicinal product (see "What is in Vitango ® contain??) Vitango® must not be used.The use of Vitango® is not recommended for children and adolescents under the age of 18, as there is insufficient data for this age group.Vitango® should not be taken in the case of severe liver or kidney diseases, as there is insufficient experience in this regard.Interactions with other medicines are possible. Inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you-suffer from other diseases-have allergies or-use other medicines (including those you bought yourself!)!

Can Vitango be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

Vitango® must not be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding be taken.

How do you use Vitango?

Adults over 18 years of age take 2 tablets per day (one before breakfast and one before lunch).

The tablet should be swallowed with a glass of water.

Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

What side effects can Vitango have?

One case each of a hypersensitivity reaction and a hypoglycemia of the blood was reported. The causal connection with the intake of Rhodiola rosea root and rhizomes has not been proven.

If you notice any side effects that are not described here, you should inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

What else needs to be considered?

Do not take a double dose if you have forgotten to take the previous dose, but continue to take it as in this pack described in the supplement.Keep out of the reach of children. Store at room temperature (15-25°C). The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked ?EXP? on the container. Your doctor, pharmacist or druggist can provide you with further information.

What does Vitango contain?

One film-coated tablet contains 200 mg dry extract of Rhodiola rosea root and rootstock [drug-extract ratio 1.5-5:1, extractant: ethanol 60% (m/m)] and auxiliary substances.
