What is Chinese balm Temple of Heaven and when is it used?
Chinese balm Temple of Heaven contains essential oils from medicinal plants as well as camphor and menthol, which relieve pain and stimulate blood circulation. Chinese balsam Temple of Heaven is used externally for rheumatic complaints such as muscle, joint and nerve pain, sciatica, lumbago and stiff neck as well as for bloodless sports injuries: sprains, dislocations and muscle strains.
What should be considered?
Rheumatic complaints have various causes. Avoid hypothermia, overuse of joints and spine. Learn how to lift loads properly. If the symptoms persist, you should consult a doctor to clarify the cause.
When should Chinese balsam Temple of Heaven not be used?
In the event of an individual hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients, you should not use Chinese balsam Temple of Heaven. Chinese balm Temple of Heaven must not be used on open (bleeding) wounds or on mucous membranes (nose, eyes). China balsam Temple of Heaven must not be used on children under the age of three.
When is caution required when using China balsam Temple of Heaven?
Chinese balsam Temple of Heaven may only be used for a short time and not over large areas in patients with previously damaged kidneys. Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you suffer from other diseases (especially skin diseases), have allergies or are taking other medicines (including those you bought yourself!) or using them externally!
Can Temple of Heaven Chinese Balm be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child if used as intended. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding, or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.
How do you use Temple of Heaven China Balm?
Temple of Heaven China Balm rub two to three times a day in a thin layer into the skin on the painful areas. Wash hands well after use. Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What side effects can Temple of Heaven Chinese balsam have?
The following side effects can occur when using Temple of Heaven Chinese balsam: Painful, itchy and inflammatory skin changes. In this case, the treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted if necessary. If you notice any side effects that are not described here, you should inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

1 g Temple of Heaven Chinese balsam contains: 140 mg menthol, 140 mg camphor, 80 mg peppermint oil, 95 mg eucalyptus oil, 15 mg clove oil, 20 mg cinnamon oil. This preparation also contains auxiliary substances.
