What is DUL-X Emulsion classic and when is it used?
DUL-X Emulsion classic is a liniment to promote blood circulation in the skin based on plant essential oils. The characteristic of DUL-X Emulsion classic is a primary cooling effect, which is replaced after a few minutes by a distinct feeling of warmth.DUL-X Emulsion classic is used:-for sore muscles, Joint pain, rheumatic complaints, lumbago, muscle strains, sprains, contusions,-in the case of cold symptoms.DUL-X Emulsion classic can have a circulation-enhancing effect:-can and used during sport to relax the muscles,-can be used to prevent sore muscles and calf cramps.
When should DUL-X Emulsion classic not be used?
DUL-X Emulsion classic must not be used:-if there is a known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients (see the section «What does DUL-X Emulsion classic contain?»).
When is caution required when using DUL-X Emulsion classic?
DUL-X Emulsion classic must not be used on small children under the age of 2.
Also for phlebitis, use on varicose veins, open wounds and extensively damaged skin, mucous membranes is not recommended.
Use DUL-X Emulsion classic carefully in children under the age of 8.
After using Wash hands with DUL-X Emulsion classic. Avoid eye contact.
In patients with previously damaged kidneys, DUL-X Emulsion classic may only be used for a short time and not on large areas.
DUL-X Emulsion classic contains cetyl/stearyl alcohol, which is localized skin irritation (e.g. contact dermatitis) and macrogolglycerol ricinoleate, which can cause skin irritation. DUL-X Emulsion classic also contains methyl/ethyl/propyl/butyl/isobutyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 214, E 216, E 218) and sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 219), which can cause allergic reactions, including delayed reactions.DUL-X Emulsion classic contains soybean oil. It must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to peanut or soy.Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you ? suffer from other diseases,? have allergies or? take other medicines (including those you bought yourself!) or use them externally!
May use DUL-X Emulsion classic can be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
DUL-X Emulsion classic must not be used during pregnancy and while breastfeeding, unless for a short period of time, not over a large area and only with a doctor's prescription.
How do you use DUL-X Emulsion classic?
Adults
Rub the affected parts of the body 3-4 times a day, as needed.
For massage Please note application: Each massage movement should be in the direction of the heart. Massage hard muscles vigorously, treat overworked muscles softly and gently. Approach painful areas with caution. First massage the area and then work carefully and with soft movements to the painful points. Whenever possible, massage in a warm room.
Principle: never freeze while massaging. A warm shower before the massage supports and improves the effect. Because of the primary cooling effect, it is advisable to keep the treated parts of the body warm for about 10 minutes after the massage. This applies in particular to water sports and winter sports.Depending on the size of the area to be treated, DUL-X emulsion should be used several times a day as follows:-for joints approx. 3-6ml,-for arms/legs/trunk/back approx. 5-15 ml,-massage into back and chest if symptoms of a cold appear and keep warm.For external use. Do not use any compresses, bandages or covers.The use and safety of DUL-X Emulsion classic in children and adolescents has not yet been tested.Observe the instructions in the Dosage indicated in the leaflet or prescribed by the doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What side effects can DUL-X Emulsion classic have?
The following side effects can occur when using DUL-X Emulsion classic:skin irritation,rashes.Another one In this case, do not use it and consult your doctor if necessary.If you notice any side effects that are not described here, you should tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist or inform a druggist.
What else must be observed?
DUL-X Emulsion classic may only be used up to the date marked «EXP» on the container.
Any eye contact may cause eye burns. Rinse your eyes with plenty of water. What does DUL-X Emulsion classic contain?
100 g emulsion contain:Active ingredientsMenthol 0.25 g, star anise oil 0.50 g, eucalyptus oil 2.30 g, wintergreen oil 1.00 g, citronella oil 0.70 g, peppermint oil 0.85 g, rosemary oil 2.80 g, arnica flower oil extract 1.70 g (Arnica montana L., drug-extract ratio 1:10, Extraction agent: soybean oil 100%).
Excipients
Water, cetyl/stearyl alcohol, macrogolglycerol ricinoleate, sodium cetyl/stearyl sulfate, sunflower oil, corn oil, silicon dioxide, sodium alginate, wheat germ oil, citric acid, methyl /ethyl/propyl/butyl/isobutyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 214, E 216, E 218), phenoxyethanol, sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 219), imidazolidinyl ureum.
