What is Bronchipret TP and when is it used?
Bronchipret TP is a herbal medicine. It contains extracts of primula root and thyme herb. The main active ingredient in the thyme extract is the essential oil, which not only has an expectorant effect, but also has a strong anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral effect. Primrose extract has an expectorant and bronchial dilating effect. Bronchipret TP is used to relieve coughing in acute bronchitis and colds.
What should be considered?
In the case of symptoms that last longer than 7 days or if shortness of breath occurs, fever as with purulent or bloody sputum, a doctor should be consulted.
Note for diabetics: This medicine contains less than 0.1 g of usable carbohydrates per film-coated tablet. The medicinal product is nevertheless suitable for diabetics.
When should Bronchipret TP not be used or only with caution?
Bronchipret TP film-coated tablets should not be used if there is a known hypersensitivity to primula, thyme or others Lamiaceae (labitate), birch, mugwort, celery or any of the other ingredients of the drug.Do not use if you have stomach ulcers or gastritis.Please only take Bronchipret TP film-coated tablets after consulting your doctor Consult a doctor if you know that you suffer from an intolerance to sugar.
This medicinal product contains less than 1 mmol sodium (23 mg) per film-coated tablet, i.e. it is essentially «sodium-free».
Bronchipret TP should not be used in children under 12 years of age. There are no adequate studies on use in children under the age of 12.Inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you

May Bronchipret TP should be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Bronchipret TP should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to insufficient tests.
How do you use Bronchipret TP? h3>
Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and adolescents from the age of 12 take 1 film-coated tablet 3 times a day. The tablets are taken without chewing, with some liquid if necessary, before meals.
Observe the dosage given in the package leaflet or prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.The use and safety of Bronchipret TP, film-coated tablets Children under the age of 12 have not yet been tested.
What side effects can Bronchipret TP have?Very rare (affects less than 1 in 10,000 users)
Hypersensitivity reactions such as shortness of breath, skin rashes, hives and swelling of the face, mouth and/or throat, gastrointestinal problems such as cramps, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist or druggists or your doctor, pharmacist or druggist. What does Bronchipret TP contain?
Active ingredients
1 film-coated tablet contains 60 mg dry extract of primrose roots (Primula veris L., Primula elatior (L.) HILL, radix), DEV 6 - 7: 1, extractant ethanol 47 .4% (v/v) and 160 mg dry extract of thyme (Thymus vulgaris L., Thymus zygis L., herba), DEV 6 ? 10: 1, extractant ethanol 70% (v/v).
