What is Climavita Film-coated Tablets and when is it used?
Climavita Film-coated Tablets is a medicine with an extract from the medicinal plant Cimicifuga racemosa (black cohosh). Climavita is used for symptoms associated with menopause (hot flashes, sweating, sleep disorders, nervousness and mood disorders). These can be alleviated by Climavita Film-coated Tablets.
What precautions should be taken?
You should consult your doctor if you have a feeling of tension or swelling in the breasts or if you experience unforeseen bleeding between periods, spotting or if you have recurring menstrual periods.This medicinal product contains 177.6 mg of usable carbohydrate per single dose.
When should Climavita Film-coated Tablets not be used or only with caution?
Climavita Film-coated Tablets must not be used if there is a known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients or to Ranunculaceae (buttercup family). We do not recommend taking Climavita if you have liver damage.This preparation influences the physical and psychological symptoms of menopause (climacteric). Since there are no clinical data that show a beneficial effect on bones, this preparation cannot be used to prevent osteoporosis.Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you

How do you use Climavita Film-coated Tablets?
Unless otherwise prescribed, take 1 film-coated tablet whole with some liquid once a day. It should be taken at the same time of day (preferably in the evening) whenever possible.Climavita Film-coated Tablets can be used over a longer period of time, at least over a period of 6 weeks. Use for more than 6 months should only take place after consultation with your doctor.Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What side effects can Climavita Film-coated Tablets have?
The following side effects can occur when taking Climavita Film-coated Tablets: In rare cases, slight stomach problems, nausea. In very rare cases there is evidence of liver damage.
