Lamisil Pedisan Once Film Forming Solution is a single-use medicine for the treatment of athlete's foot. The preparation contains the active substance terbinafine. After application of the film-forming solution, a colorless film remains on the feet. The active substance used to treat athlete's foot is released into the skin from this film. Under treatment with Lamisil Pedisan Once, the general symptoms of athlete's foot such as itching, scaling and redness subside.

What is Lamisil Pedisan Once and when is it used?
Lamisil Pedisan Once film-forming solution is a single-use medicine for the treatment of athlete's foot. The preparation contains the active substance terbinafine. After application of the film-forming solution, a colorless film remains on the feet. The active substance used to treat athlete's foot is released into the skin from this film. Under treatment with Lamisil Pedisan Once, the general symptoms of athlete's foot such as itching, scaling and redness subside.
What should be considered?
To prevent athlete's foot, you should follow a few rules:
- Change stockings daily.Avoid tight shoes.Dry skin carefully after washing.Change towels daily.
- Do not go barefoot, sprinkle stockings and shoes on the inside every day with a powder that is effective against fungal infections or spray with a spray.
- Wash hands well after use and after contact with the affected skin areas. This can prevent the fungal infection from spreading further.
When must Lamisil Pedisan Once not be used?
Lamisil Pedisan Once must not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to the active ingredient terbinafine or one of the excipients it contains (see «What does Lamisil Pedisan Once contain?»).
In children and adolescents under the age of 15:
Lamisil Pedisan Once has not been tested for use in children and adolescents under the age of 15. Therefore, the use of Lamisil Pedisan Once in children and adolescents under 15 years of age is not recommended.
When should you be careful when using Lamisil Pedisan Once?
Lamisil Pedisan Once is for external use only (do not use in the mouth, do not ingest). Do not use Lamisil Pedisan Once on the face; it must not get in the eyes. Accidental eye contact may cause eye irritation. If Lamisil Pedisan Once comes into contact with the eyes, the eyes should be rinsed out thoroughly under running water. Consult your doctor if any symptoms do not go away. Lamisil Pedisan Once should be used carefully on damaged skin (e.g. after sun exposure, severely scaly and/or cracked skin), as the alcohol it contains can cause irritation. In the case of extensive fungal infestation, long-lasting fungal infections or if the nails are also affected, a medical consultation should be sought. During treatment with Lamisil Pedisan Once, no other medicines should be applied to the treated skin areas. Lamisil Pedisan Once Film Forming Solution contains alcohol - keep away from open flames. Infants and small children must not come into contact with the treated skin areas. Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you
- suffer from other diseases,have allergies oruse other medicines (including those you bought yourself!)!
Can Lamisil Pedisan Once be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?Pregnancy
Lamisil Pedisan Once must not be used during pregnancy be used unless expressly prescribed by a doctor. If you think you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, you should only use Lamisil Pedisan Once after consulting a doctor.
Breastfeeding
Lamisil Pedisan Once should not be used while breastfeeding. Infants and small children must not come into contact with the treated skin areas.
How to use Lamisil Pedisan Once?Adults and adolescents over 15 years:
Lamisil Pedisan Once is for determines the single use.
- Before using Lamisil Pedisan Once, wash your hands well and thoroughly clean the affected areas of skin on your feet with a cotton swab and warm water and dry them carefully.Lamisil Pedisan Once should be applied to both Feet are applied so that the fungi are also treated and eliminated where they are not visible. Use about half the contents of the tube for each foot. Finish treating the first foot before treating the second foot.First Lamisil Pedisan Once is applied with fingers in a thin layer between and around all toes.
- Then apply Lamisil Pedisan Once to the entire sole of the foot and up to about 1.5 cm up the foot (see picture). Do not rub in, do not massage in.Treat the other foot in the same way, even if no skin lesions are visible.Then allow the applied solution to dry for 1-2 minutes before putting on socks and put on shoes.Wash your hands well with soap after use to avoid spreading the infection.Do not apply the preparation a second time.Dispose of unused medicine.
To achieve good results, Lamisil Pedisan Once must be left on the feet for 24 hours and must not be washed off . Lamisil Pedisan Once should therefore preferably be applied after a shower or bath. If there are no signs of improvement after 1 week, a doctor should be consulted.
Children and adolescents under the age of 15
The use and safety of Lamisil Pedisan Once in children and adolescents under the age of 15 has not been tested and is therefore not recommended. Stick to the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What side effects can Lamisil Pedisan Once have?
The following side effects can occur when using Lamisil Pedisan Once: Common (affects up to 1 in 10 people): skin flaking, itching. Uncommonly (in up to 1 in 100 people) redness, skin irritation, pigmentation disorders, burning sensation on the skin, pain or irritation may occur at the application site. Rare (affects up to 1 in 1000 people): dry skin, eczema. Very rarely (less than 1 in 10,000 people) allergic reactions have been observed. Tell your doctor straight away if you get any of the following symptoms, which may be signs of an allergic reaction:
- Trouble breathing or swallowingSwelling of the face, lips, tongue or throatIntense itching of the skin with a red rash or blisters.
If an allergic reaction or any of the above symptoms occurs, the film should be removed with alcohol (available in pharmacies) and the feet should be washed with warm water and soap If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist. This also applies in particular to side effects that are not listed in this leaflet.

The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked «EXP» on the container.
