What is Ginsana, soft capsules / tonic with alcohol / tonic with cherry flavor and when is it used?

Ginsana, soft capsules / tonic with alcohol / tonic with cherry flavor is a preparation on a plant basis. It contains G115® extract from the roots of real ginseng (Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer), which is produced using a standardized process and adjusted to a constant total ginsenoside content is. Ginsana, soft capsules / tonic with alcohol / tonic with cherry flavor is used to increase physical and mental performance in the case of weakness and exhaustion, tiredness and lack of concentration as well as in convalescence.

When should Ginsana, soft capsules / tonic with alcohol / tonic with cherry flavor not be used or only with caution?

Ginsana, soft capsules / tonic with alcohol / tonic with cherry flavor may not to be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to ginseng preparations or other components of the drug (see «What does Ginsana, soft capsules / tonic with alcohol / tonic with cherry flavor contain?»). If you are allergic to soy or peanuts, Ginsana, soft capsules should not be taken. In the case of certain rare hereditary diseases, certain excipients such as lactose (Ginsana, soft capsules), sugar (= sucrose) (Ginsana Tonic with alcohol, Ginsana Tonic with cherry flavor ) should not be taken. There are no studies on the use of this medicine in children. It should therefore not be used in children under 12 years of age. If ginseng is taken at the same time as medicines that inhibit blood clotting (so-called oral anticoagulants, e.g. phenprocoumon, acenocoumarol, warfarin), their effect can be weakened. Ginsana, soft capsules can increase the effect of blood sugar-lowering drugs in diabetics. Ginsana Tonic with alcohol: This medicinal product contains 11.5% vol. alcohol. There is a health risk for people with liver disease, when taking paracetamol at the same time, for alcoholics, epileptics, people with brain damage, pregnant women, breastfeeding women and children. Based on previous experience, ginseng preparations without alcohol ( Ginsana, soft capsules, Ginsana Tonic with cherry aroma) no known risk for the child when used as directed. Systematic, scientific investigations were never carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice. Ginsana, soft capsules: Usually 2 soft capsules daily with breakfast or 1 soft capsule each with breakfast and lunch. It is best taken with some liquid. Adolescents from the age of 12
