Description - Halset lozenges 24 pcs

What is Halset and when is it used?

Halset is a sugar-free lozenge for sore throats.

Halset is effective against bacteria and fungi, which occur more often with inflammation in the mouth and throat. The active ingredient in Halset (cetylpyridinium chloride) penetrates the folds and pockets of the mouth and throat thanks to its special properties.

Halset is used for sore throats and dysphagia as well as inflammation of the gums, oral mucosa and pharynx.

What should be considered?

A lozenge of Halset contains 0.75 g of usable carbohydrates.

When should Halset not be absorbed be taken?

In the event of hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients.

In children under 6 years of age (risk of choking).

Because of the menthol content in bronchial asthma or diseases with pronounced hypersensitivity of the bronchi.

In the case of mucosal damage after radiation.

When should caution be taken when taking Halset?

In the case of severe sore throat or sore throat associated with high fever, headache, nausea or If vomiting occurs or lasts longer than 2 days, a doctor should be consulted.Patients with a rare congenital disorder of fructose utilization should not use this medicine. In the case of more severe bacterial infections, especially if a streptococcal infection is suspected, a medical examination and, if necessary, further treatment are required. How do you use Halset?

To achieve the best effect, you should let the Halset lozenges slowly melt in your mouth and do not bite them!

Adults and adolescents from the age of 12: 1 tablet at intervals of 1 - 2 hours (no more than 10 tablets per day).

Children from 6 years of age: 1 tablet at intervals of 2 - 3 hours (no more than 6 tablets per day).

Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

What side effects can Halset have?

The following side effects can occur when using Halset:Hypersensitivity reactions (e.g. allergic skin rashes) and rarely temporary taste disturbances occur. Any brown discoloration of the teeth during the treatment can be removed with the usual dental care.Overdosing can cause irritation or a "burning sensation" in the oral mucosa or tongue. Due to the laxative effect of sorbitol, diarrhea could occur, especially in children.Please tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you notice any of the side effects listedyou are severely impaired or you notice side effects that are not described here.

Keep out of the reach of children.Halset may only be used up to the end marked «Exp.» on the package.

Store at room temperature (15-25 °C).
