Liposic Fluid UD is an artificial tear fluid. It is used to moisten the eyes and for mild irritation of the eyes. Liposic Fluid UD is also used for dry eyes of various causes on the recommendation of the pharmacist or druggist, or on the basis of a doctor's prescription.
What needs to be considered?
This medicine has been given to you to treat your current Eye problems prescribed by your doctor, pharmacist or druggist. Do not use it to treat other conditions or third parties.
Note for contact lens wearers:
Liposic Fluid UD is not suitable for contact lens wearers.
When should Liposic Fluid UD not be used?
If you know or suspect you are hypersensitive (allergic) to an ingredient in Liposic Fluid UD. The use in children and adolescents has not yet been clinically tested, which is why its use is not recommended.
When is caution required when using Liposic Fluid UD?
If there is no improvement after 2-3 days, see a doctor visit. If it gets worse or if new symptoms appear, e.g. reduced visual acuity, a doctor must be consulted immediately. Blurred vision is possible for a short time after application. In such a case, you should refrain from driving or using machines until visibility has normalized. Inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you suffer from other illnesses, have allergies or are taking other medicines (even those you bought yourself!) or use them on your eyes.
Can Liposic Fluid UD be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding only after consultation with your doctor, pharmacist or druggist or with your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
How to use Liposic Fluid UD?
Adults: 3-5 times a day or more and at bedtime, 1 drop in the conjunctival sac of the affected eye. Its use in children and adolescents has not yet been clinically tested, which is why its use is not recommended. Liposic Fluid UD is suitable for long-term therapy. However, long-term therapy is part of medical treatment. If you are also using other eye preparations, there should be a period of at least 15 minutes between the applications of the preparations on the eye, and a period of 15 minutes if you are also treating with an eye ointment. Liposic Fluid UD can extend the time other eye drops remain on the eye and thus increase their effect. To avoid this, Liposic Fluid UD should always be used as the last preparation. Liposic Fluid UD does not contain any preservatives. A new Unidose must therefore be used for each application and discarded after use. Stick to the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What side effects can Liposic Fluid UD have?
The following side effects can occur when using Liposic Fluid UD: Blurred vision until Liposic Fluid UD is evenly distributed on the surface of the eye. On very rare occasions, a hypersensitivity reaction to any of the ingredients may occur. If hypersensitivity reactions or irritation of the eyes occur, please interrupt the treatment and consult your doctor. Liposic Fluid UD without preservatives is recommended for patients who are particularly sensitive to preservatives. In very rare cases (up to 1 in 10,000 people treated), patients with severe corneal damage developed clouding of the cornea due to calcium deposits during treatment with eye drops containing phosphate. If you notice side effects that are not described here, you should inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What else needs to be considered?
Liposic Fluid UD: Detach one Unidose container from the other Unidoses. Twist the cap to open the container and drop the solution into the eye. The Unidoses must be thrown away immediately after use. Shelf life: The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked "Exp." on the container. designated date are used. Conservation/Storage: Store in the closed original packaging at room temperature (15-25?C) and out of the reach of children. Liposic Fluid UD should be stored away from light in the folding box.
