When are Doron cough drops used?
According to anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature, Doron cough drops can be used for treatment of dry cough and acute catarrh of the airways. Doron cough drops have a calming effect and quickly soothe irritation. The symptoms of a cold such as hoarseness, dry and/or tickling cough are alleviated and can subside after a short time.
What should be considered?
If symptoms persist, you should see your doctor. If your doctor has prescribed other medicines for you, ask your doctor or pharmacist whether Doron cough drops can be taken at the same time.
When should Doron cough drops not be used or only with caution?
To date, no application restrictions are known. When used as intended, no special precautionary measures are necessary. Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you
- suffer from other diseases,
- have allergies or
- take other medicines (including those you bought yourself!).
Can Doron cough drops be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child if used as directed. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. Since the Doron cough drops contain 59% alcohol by volume, they should only be used with caution (dose frequency, number of drops). As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.
How do you use Doron Cough Drops?
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, Doron Cough Drops are taken as follows: Adults and adolescents from the age of 12: Dilute 15-30 drops in a little water or tea 3-5 times a day.
Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If the desired improvement does not occur during the treatment of a small child/child, a doctor should be consulted with them. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What side effects can Doron cough drops have?
No side effects have been observed for Doron cough drops when used as intended. If you do notice any side effects, tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What else needs to be considered?
