When is Ceres Hypericum comp. not taken or taken with caution?

Preparations containing St. John's wort (ingredient HypericumØ) should not be taken if the skin is known to be sensitive to light. Interactions: Preparations with St. John's wort (ingredient Hypericum Ø) can have an unfavorable effect on the effects of numerous other drugs, especially prescription drugs. The preparation should therefore only be taken after consulting your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking other medicines, especially those that require a prescription. Ceres Hypericum comp. should not be taken by children under the age of 12. Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you ?suffer from other diseases, ?have allergies or ?Take other medicines (including those you bought yourself!) or use them externally!

May Ceres Hypericum comp. taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

Ceres Hypericum comp. must not be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

How do you use Ceres Hypericum comp?

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, adults and children over the age of 12 take 1-3 drops 3 times a day a. Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. The drops are best taken in a little water and rubbed in well. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

What side effects can Ceres Hypericum comp. have?

No side effects have been observed for Ceres Hypericum comp. when used as directed. However, when taking St. John's wort preparations (ingredient HypericumØ) sensitivity to light (photosensitization) can occur in rare cases. If you notice any side effects that are not described here, you should inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist. When taking homeopathic medicines, the symptoms can temporarily worsen (initial aggravation). If the deterioration persists, discontinue Ceres Hypericum comp. and tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked ?Use by? on the container. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Store at room temperature (15-25°C).
